We meet in a local High School. There is both tiered and floor spaced seating allowing accessible seating and ease of access.
Our morning services include a Biblical message, usually based on a theme, interviews and stories that showcase God’s love and power, prayer and inspirational worship (including hymns and songs from writers such as the Gettys, Hillsong, Soul Survivor). Children and teenagers are equipped through Sparks (our pre-school crèche), Ignite (Key Stage 1 children), Flames (Key Stage 2 children) and Empower (High School age). After the service, we invite you to stay for refreshments and to socialise in The Coffee Stop.
We meet at our smaller building on Hunter Street, in the heart of Carnforth, off Market Street, near the railway station. This welcoming space provides us with a more intimate environment for extended times of prayer and worship and an opportunity to explore issues or engage with ministries, both local and global. We often have guest speakers or developing communicators, providing a platform for an encounter with God and to be equipped for serving.
Circles are better for rows.
The best way to grow in spiritual and relational maturity is to have circles (weekly small groups) that complement the rows (Sunday services). Our small groups, or LIFE groups, provide an opportunity to discuss and explore issues of faith and their relevant application in day to day life. We have several midweek LIFE groups in communities around our region. These house-based groups provide a comfortable environment to discuss the Sunday morning message, pray together and form friendships. They provide a brilliant opportunity to find meaningful and practical support and encouragement to live out our identity in Christ. LIFE Groups exist so that no one is left alone.
For a sample of discussion notes, please go to our Life Group Notes section.
To develop our discipleship we have also run courses such as Freedom in Christ and the Grace Course which have had positive impacts on many lives.
