Community Involvement

We love our local communities and seek to serve and show God’s love, power and hope. Here are some glimpses of opportunities we have to do this.

Sports
On a Tuesday night there is a 'kick-about' for those not so young and fit (Classics). Each year we organise the Carnforth Soccer & Netball School for 90+ children, encouraging them in their development of sporting and life skills. On a Friday we run a Kids Football Club at 17:00 at Capernwray Sports Hall.

Courses
In order to support our community in difficult seasons of life we run courses like Divorce Care, Grief Share and for those wanting to explore faith, The Alpha Course.

Music & Memories
Dementia care is such a challenging issue. Our Music & Memories event runs fortnightly on Thursdays at 13:30 at the CFMC Centre (please contact us to check the upcoming dates).

Teacakes & Tots
If you are looking for a space on Monday mornings to bring your little ones and enjoy a a brew please come along at 09:00 at CFMC Centre.

Carers Support Group
We revognise that caring for loved ones can bring a real strain on many people. If you would appreciate joining with others once a month (generally every 3rd Saturday in the month at 10:30 at CFMC Centre) for encouragement and support - please come along.
