Welcome to the Carnforth Free Methodist Church (CFM) website where we hope you will find the information you seek. CFM is currently a church around 150 strong and is a great place to encounter God.
Our worship is a blend of old and new, and our teaching is Bible based and offers both Christians and non-Christians great advice on life, both now and for eternity.
Whether you are new to Church, new to the area or just new to CFM we would love to meet you some Sunday soon.
We are strategically placed at Carnforth just off Junction 35 of the M6 and on the main west coast railway line close to where the counties of Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire meet. Our vision is to be part of a move of God's Spirit across this region which will impact congregations and communities in these 3 counties.
The Carnforth congregation began as a house group linked to the Lancaster FM Church and we held our first Sunday worship service on 7th January 1990.
We are part of the Free Methodist Church which has ministries in 80 countries worldwide. Here in the UK we belong to the Evangelical Alliance and the Free Church Group which relates to Churches Together in England.
